In the past 45 years his dedication to client service has expanded his knowledge and experience on issues ranging from planning for business succession, estate taxes, income taxes, family gifting and business operations. Now that Jack has retired from the accounting and tax practice, he has gained new energy from the opportunities to work with legacy friends and new clients at FMI.
Jack and Judy have been married for over 35 years and he still believes his best times are those spent with her; and, if that time also includes being with any of his five grandchildren he is really happy. Otherwise he spends his free time reading, both fiction and non-fiction, traveling, or cheering on his favorite team – the OSU Cowboys in any sport.
Mike views his work as financial adviser as a privilege. He is motivated and finds satisfaction in the opportunity to guide individuals and families to the peace of mind associated with finding financial solutions. This type of work mirrors his years of experience as a coach. He gets to help people in their financial decision making while encouraging them to plan for the future. Like his coaching experience, he works with individuals or groups of people like families and businesses. When not meeting with clients, Mike spends time with his family, Susan, Dustin, Derek and Blake watching college football and movies. He also likes fishing, fitness, and being involved in his community.
